Samaritan's Purse out of Boone, NC has been consistently facilitating Operation Christmas Child since 1993. Teams all across the nation help package and distribute the shoe boxes full of toys, hygiene products, and school supplies both nationally and abroad.
You can visit the website to learn more information about what is allowed in the boxes (no liquid please!), how your $9 shipping donation is applied, and how to track your box. Utilize the site to find your nearest drop off location or to build a preset box for $25 online.
This is something I am doing with my own child to send but next year I would love to get a team going! With so many more children without parents due to Covid-19 and natural disasters, this is a simple way to not forget about them during the holidays.
