In Virginia, more than half of the 541 homicide victims in 2020 were committed by an intimate partner (National Coalition Against Domestic Violence). Studies show that kids who bully others are often more likely to be abusive toward their romantic partners (StopBullying.gov) and members of the public. As bullying goes unchecked, both victims and abusers become higher risks of committing self harm or escalated violence.
